Las Cruces is located in the beautiful Mesilla Valley, bordered to the east by the spectacular Organ Mountains and to the west by the historic Rio Grande River and Robledo Mountains. Las Cruces provides a variety of cultural attractions with numerous galleries, museums, dining opportunities, and shopping. It offers easy access to outdoor recreation such as: White Sands National Monument, the Gila National Forest, Ruidoso Downs and Sunland Park Race Tracks, Ski Apache in Ruidoso, Caballo and Elephant Butte Lakes, all within a few hours drive of Las Cruces. The newly expanded El Paso International Airport is conveniently located 45 minutes away as is Juarez, Mexico.

The Mesilla Valley and neighboring Hatch Valley, which is the Chile Capitol of the world, grow the best chile you'll find anywhere. Because of this, Las Cruces is the home of some of the most amazing Mexican and New Mexican cuisine that will leave you coming back for more.
